US Immigration System

The US is a nation that was built through the immigrations of many different origins. If we have a look at the history of immigrants in America we will see, that today’s immigration laws are based on laws from the last century. The problems the Americans are facing today are terrorism, gang violence and drug abuse. The question is, are the immigrants really to blame for the problems in the US?

I think, you can’t just blame immigrants for the situation in America just because there are a few black sheep upon them, but neither can you blame all not documented immigrants. I do believe that there should be made some changes in law to help people immigrate to the US legally and preventing others from just cutting the line and coming in illegally. But to export nearly all immigrants and start over again would be not the best solution in my opinion. I believe that illegal immigrants that have a job, do something for the country and are able to support themselves and their families should be given the change to pay back taxes and become legal immigrants. If Trump would export all of them too, I believe that there will be consequences such as problems for their previous employers finding new, skilled employees.

In my eyes, the US immigration system will not get better by starting over, there will only be new challenges to be faced.
