Hard reset
It is no secret that the US are facing several problems linked to the immigration system, such as gang crime and drug abuse. Some people suggest to export nearly all immigrants, which means eleven million people and start over. This is an absolutely inhumane and impossible idea.
The US government cannot just deport millions of people who were searching for a better life. This "solution" is just too easy and not fair for those who came with good intentions. The immigration system needs suggestions from people who want to solve these problems to help the people and not only to help their own nation's economy.
The poor and unemployed are often immigrants who see no other way but contributing in criminal actions to survive. Establishing a working social system that includes proper healthcare would be a move in the right direction. People need to act and stand up for humans and human rights and not just for econimic advantages.
