Is the right wing media’s manipulation of identity politics actually interested in the truth?

Right wing (medias) [W - ^ media outlets] have a conservative agenda [P - ^ ,] and their manipulation of identity politics aims at supporting the implementation of this agenda. Right wing political parties can only win elections by (capitalising) [Sp, St - ^ capitalizing] on divisions within the population. This is where right wing (medias) [W - ^ media outlets] enter (in) [prep - ^ into] play. Their manipulation of identity politics aims at gathering one part of the society, i.e. (the) [no det] white (American citizen) [W,foc,E - ^ Americans], by showing them who their “enemy” is. In fact, the only thing that actually holds this group together is their opposition and fear of this common “enemy (”.) [P,St - ^ .") The description made of this “enemy” is based (of) [prep - ^ on] false facts (or so-called “alternative facts”), assumptions without any basis, and false generalisations. It is, in my view, clear that the right wing (media's) [W - ^ media outlets'] manipulation of identity politics is not at all interested in the truth. It is actually only focused on pushing forward (its) [Agr - ^ their] own interests and agenda.
