How will the problem of financing print media be resolved?

Print media is losing popularity over the recent years. Easy access and concise information on the smartphone or tablet is favoured over buying paper to throw it away later. Also, there are opinions favouring the environmental friendly aspect of a paperless news interface. But these developments are causing problems for traditional print media enthusiasts and manufacturers. But it can be possible to find solutions for financing these. The expansion of media in the internet is a good start, with increased revenue more money can be made with internet articles. Money can be incorporated and reinvested into print media. Another solution could be the increase of usage of electronic readers. Just as in music streaming platforms, articles can be offered in a free or charged abonnement.
